A Resource You Can Get Behind
As a comprehensive early parenting resource, we’re here to simplify the overwhelming amount of information, resources, and sea-change that becoming a parent brings. We offer compassionate support when you want it, ask curious questions to help you find your own way, keep it real with hard-earned (and data-driven) wisdom, and find ways to bring ease and joy to the early years of parenthood.

Our Approach
Through professionally-curated information and services, practical support, and thoughtful considered referrals, our person-centered approach helps guide new and expecting parents as they navigate the learning curve of pregnancy and early parenthood.
Our Leadership & Team
Our team brings a variety of expertises in health education, mental health services, lactation, early childhood development, and so much more. We understand our professions to be porous- we need to lean on each other to fully meet the needs of our community. Learn more about how our work dovetails here:

Our Guiding Principles & Commitments
Our organizational principles and commitments enable each Then Comes Baby staff and board member to have greater impact, helping us center in on what’s important and align us, as we strive toward the collective good of our mission.
They are our guiding light and set the tone for how we show up for the good work serving new & expecting parents and their babies each day.
Our Access & Equity Fund
We believe that all caregivers should have access to the services, support, and evidence-based information they need to make informed-decisions and build thriving families. Cost should never stand in the way.
The Then Comes Baby Access & Equity Fund covers the gap between what families can afford to pay for services and actual costs. This program is available for pregnant and postpartum caregivers who fit the income eligibility guidelines.

Sustainability
At Then Comes Baby we are mindful that our actions can have impacts — big and small — on our environment and community.
We act with our families and yours in mind, following the “7th generation” principle: in every decision, we must consider how it will affect our children, their children, and the generation two centuries from now. That’s why being “Green” has been part of our DNA from the get-go and why we went the extra mile to become a certified Bay Area Green Business.
