You’ve made it out of the early postpartum phase and your baby wants to do more than (seemingly) eat, sleep, snuggle, and poop. They are awake longer and want to engage longer. Now what? It’s time to play! Play for babies = learning, growing, and connecting. It tends to mean the same for their caregivers. But, what does age-appropriate play with a baby “look” like?
Our Seedlings Developmental Play class is a fun, research-informed circle time for caregivers and their babies to interact in meaningful play. Each class is a theme-based menu of finger-plays, songs, and activities that intricately support the five areas of early childhood development.
Class Dates: Tuesdays at 11:15am – 12:15pm (unless noted)
- Tues. 11/29 – 12/20
- Tues. 01/10 – 01/31 (Makeup 02/07)
- Tues. Feb. & March Series TBD
We know that parents and caregivers have many questions about their growing babies (and growth of their own!), so we’ve built in time to celebrate your baby, share your experiences and concerns, and ask common questions about infant development or concerns to professionals with deep insight into babies and early childhood development. Stay after class if you like for an “after party” tea time and chats with your fellow classmates.
Each participant will also have access to support materials and community resources to connect into to support the developmental needs of babies. Developmental Play + Q&A! Fun for the whole family.
