It’s our honor to support you in this important time of your life. As a small nonprofit working hard to support the many needs of many families in the community, we have found that we need to maintain Cancellation Policies and clear communication of expectations around cancellations.
Whether you are joining us for an appointment, a class, a group, or a special event, please check your calendar carefully for conflicts prior to registering.
Lactation Consultations
Please provide 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your lactation consultation. A 50% cancellation fee will be applied if cancellations are less than 24 hours in advance, unless the visit is rescheduled.
If you, a family member, or recent contact have a runny nose, sore throat, fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, we can switch an in-person visit to a virtual visit so you can still get the support you need in your scheduled time or we can reschedule.

Sleep Consultations
If you need to cancel your scheduled sleep consultation, please do so within 72 hours of the visit.
If you, a family member, or recent contact have a runny nose, sore throat, fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, we can switch an in-person visit to a virtual visit or we can reschedule.
Classes & Groups
If you need to cancel or miss a class (read our sick policy at the bottom of the page and our Pandemic Policies here), please text us at 805-834-2229 or reach out via our Contact page as soon as possible.
On occasion, due to instructor illness or when required minimum enrollment is not met, Then Comes Baby may need to cancel or postpone a class. Many of our series classes have make-up dates pre-scheduled and in place AT REGISTRATION. Even though we rarely need to utilize this make-up, we find that it is very helpful in the event that a teacher truly is ill or has an emergency.
Please be sure that you have your make-up dates “penciled in” in case it is needed.
For cancellation, we will give participants the earliest notification possible and offer a full refund or Then Comes Baby credit, per your wishes. Please know that we are fully committed to your education and will make every effort for you to make up your canceled class or help you enroll in another one.
