We’ve asked the thousands of families that we’ve worked with over the years “What do you wish you could have been given to prepare for the baby?” Time and again, the answer is unequivocal:
“More Support!”
Specifically, someone to offer opportunities to learn about themselves and their babies, connect with new parents, and find ways to take care of themselves. Somehow “a 12th newborn onesie” didn’t land on the list. 🙂
We are please to offer personalized gift certificates that can be used with Then Comes Baby for anything we offer — perhaps a thoughtfully developed class taught by seasoned experts in the field, some “me” time with massage or yoga, some time to connect & process in moms groups, 1:1 personalized feeding or sleep support — we are here to offer that support new parents truly need.

We’d be honored! Over the years supporting new parents we’ve been told time and again that one of the most useful gifts that they got was the gift of a support group, a class of their choice, or yoga and massage. Some people ask for a specific option (ex. A new moms group) while others ask for a flat amount to use however they need. We’re happy to help with whatever you need!
No, it doesn’t. We’ve had people forget about it and come back around to use it with baby #2. As long as we’re here to serve you, your gift is good with us.
We’d be happy to show your friend some bodywork love. 🙂 While we do specialize in supporting folks in pregnancy and postpartum, we are happy to serve all. We support women of all ages and stages.
Nope! While we prefer that to keep things as smooth as possible on the back end and connect it to the account of the person who will be using it, we can associate it with your account and simply shift it over once the person redeems it.
At the moment it is, but we’ve formatted it to be easily printed either on a home color printer or sent in to a local or online copy shop. If this is a real challenge for you, talk to us and we can see what we can do! One of the reasons we made this decision was that it’s common for people to lose gift certificates (oh no!), the other is that we try really hard to be a paperless organization as much as we can (it’s part of our Sustainability commitment and we use paper only when essential, usually in a class activity).
