PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Olson is a clinical psychologist who has a passion for maternal mental health and supporting parents and families. She earned her doctorate from UC Santa Barbara in their Counseling/Clinical/School Psychology program. During graduate school, she had the opportunity to train at CALM in their Great Beginnings Program, where she was able to support mothers experiencing Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) through both group and individual therapy. Dr. Olson spent her internship year at the University of New Mexico in their Early Childhood track, where her passion for supporting the bond between children and their caregivers grew. She has worked locally for the last decade, most recently opening up a private practice that focuses heavily on parenting support, perinatal care, and working with children and their families. Her dream is that mothers and other parenting folks can feel fully supported in their parenting journey, allowing them the space and safety to engage in their own healing and to develop secure attachment relationships with their children.
