Your baby is on the move! They’re exploring their world in a whole new way and they’re becoming quite the social beings. It’s time to play! Play for babies = learning, growing, and connecting. It tends to mean the same for their caregivers. But, what does age-appropriate play with a baby at this stage “look” like?
Our older baby and pre-toddler focused Sprouts Developmental Play class is a fun, research-informed time for parents/caregivers and their babies to interact in meaningful play. Each class is a theme-based with activities that intricately support the five areas of early childhood development.
Whatever the latest developments – crawling, cruising, teething, stranger anxiety, sleep shifts (again!!), more solid foods, first words, possible weaning – we know that parents and caregivers have many questions about their growing babies (and growth of their own!). We’ve built in time to celebrate your growing little one, share experiences and concerns, and ask common questions about older infant and early toddler development to professionals with deep insight into babies and early childhood development.
Each participant will also have access to support materials and community resources to connect into to support the developmental needs of babies. Come for the Q&A + Play, stay for the “after party” to hang with your classmates and connect for a bit after class!
Class Dates: Wednesday at 11:15am – 12:15pm (unless noted)
- March 1st-March 22nd
- May 3rd-May 24th
